Hearing a song often takes me back to a specific event in my past. And singing or playing makes me feel more authentic and alive! Music is also one of those rare things that brings us together! My wife and I are going to a concert tonight with some folks from work. We also love to sing and play with some of our best friends. And we always are singing and playing in our house – and I mean always!
We’ve even stumbled into community festivals when travelling! It’s amazing to see everyone, young and old, man and woman, take part. It’s even one of the things I miss most from my church days when I was growing up. So while I have some issues with loud music, and lots of bass in particular, as an HSP, I am looking forward to the concert. I can’t imagine life without music and always enjoy it!
